Event Details/Candidate Bios - Election Night - January 28, 2016


SABA-GA will have two (2) board positions to fill come 2016, and three very qualified individuals have been nominated for the two openings.  The candidates' bios are posted on our website. As a reminder, the elections meeting will be hosted by Morris, Manning, & Martin at 6 pm this Thursday.  We'll provide food along wtih beer and wine, and look forward to catching up with our membership.

We hope you'll all be able to join us and participate in the process, but we understand some of you may have a conflict.  IF you are unable to attend the in-person meeting, you can download the proxy ballot here, and email them to our elections officer Fareesh Sarangi atFareesh.Sarangi@gmail.com by 12 pm on Election Day,Thursday January 28 to have your vote counted.

Asian Americans Advancing Justice - 5th Annual Legislative Breakfast and Lobby Day - Wed. Feb. 17th.
 

SABA-GA is proud to join with several other Asian legal organizations and several corporate sponsors to once again co-sponsor this important annual event, and hope many of our members will participate by attending and ensuring our voices are heard on important legislative issues.  We expect to hear from House Minority Leader Stacey Abrams, and Senate Majority Leader Bill Cowsert so far, with other guests to follow.  All attendees will also be invited to take a group picture with Gov. Nathan Deal.  If you have an interest in politics or legislative issues that impact our community, please plan on joining us from 7:30 am - 12 pmon that date.  Tickets are available here, but SABA-GA will have a limited number of seats at our sponsored table that are free to members on a first-come basis.
