The South Asian Bar Association and the Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar Association cordially invites SABA-GA members to a Reception in honor of our Gwinnett County Asian American Judges, the Hon. DJ Jeyaram and the Hon. Ruth Rocker McMullin. The Reception will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the 1818 Club (6500 Sugarloaf Parkway, Duluth, GA 30097) and is co-hosted by the Gwinnett County Bar Association, the Korean American Bar Association of Georgia, and the Vietnamese American Bar Association of Georgia. South Asian Bar Association and Vietnamese American Bar Association Fundraising Mixer

Join the Vietnamese American Bar Association of Georgia (VABA) and the South Asian Bar Association of Georgia (SABA) on the patio at The Luminary on November 10 to make new friends, mingle with old ones, and breathe a collective sigh of relief that the election is over! You'll also have the chance to hear from and donate to two local nonprofits we're proud to support: Raksha, Inc. and Athena's Warehouse, Inc.

$20 in advance. $25 at the door. Each ticket comes with one drink and light appetizers. 100% of proceeds from ticket sales will go to Raksha, Inc. and Athena's Warehouse, Inc.

Raksha, which means “protection” in several South Asian languages, is a Georgia-based nonprofit for the South Asian Community. Raksha’s mission is to promote a stronger and healthier South Asian community through confidential support services, education, and advocacy.

Athena's Warehouse is a Georgia-based nonprofit dedicated to educating and empowering underserved high school girls in the Atlanta community, most of whom are minorities from immigrant families. Through enrichment programs, advocacy initiatives, and positive female role models, Athena's equip girls with the tools and resources to become healthy, confident, and independent young women.
